Day Hike at the Five Waterfalls of Zhuji
This is the all new 2013 program for Wuxie, our all-time favorite day hike destination near Zhuji. Deeply hidden within the mountains outside of Zhuji is a beautiful nature reserve known as the Five Waterfalls. Although the name suggests 5 waterfalls, in reality there are many more falls hidden within the reserve waiting to be discovered. We’ve added new trails for this program this year, which makes this program perfect for serious hikers who are both first timers and returned participants!

Detailed Itinerary
7:20 – meet at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (departure level, level 3);
7:40 – 9:33 board train D97 for Zhuji;
Arrive at Zhuji station, picked up by chartered mini van, and transfer to the park entrance (+/- 45 min). Start hiking;
Hike from the 1st fall to the 5th fall and have lunch. After lunch continue hiking to the west canyon and take a small trail from the West Canyon which takes us along river streams, passing several villages, and bamboo forests to exit the park. (note: the small trail from the West Canyon is an add on as of 2013, which have not been taken by previous groups in the past);
Return to the train station by chartered mini van at around 16:30;
17:12 – 19:44 board train D5654 and return to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station.
Program ends.
