Nanbei Lake Hiking and Kayaking
Nanbei Lake is located close to Jiaxing in Zhejiang province, only 1.5 hours by car from the center of Shanghai. It boasts the unique scenery of lake, sea and mountain occupying 45 square kilometers of land. Enjoy 2 hours of kayaking on the lake, along with a hike up to the Eagle Nest Peak, the highest peak in the area, for the spectacular view of the lake down below, and the sea off to a distance. You are guaranteed to return to Shanghai tired but satisfied.

Program Intro
8:00 am – meet up at the Jingan Temple. Board the bus, and drive about 1.5 hours to reach Nan Bei Lake. Follow the hiking path that leads to the Eagle Nest Peak, for the amazing view of the whole scenic area, descend and make a stop at the “Walled City of Tan Xian”, the smallest fortress in China. We shall take lunch at a local restaurant within the scenic zone.
In the afternoon, engage in 2 hours of kayaking on the Nanbei Lake. Return to Shanghai at around 4pm, and drop off at the Jing’an Temple Subway Station. Program ends.
