Shanghai Outing Club(SOC) hosts Family Day activity every three or fours months to get all members hooked up either by outing or cultural learning.
With the Easter and Qingming festival coming we would love to invite all of you to join our first SOC Family Day in 2016! This time we will work with That's Mandarin, an awesome Chinese-teaching platform in Shanghai and China, to co-host this activity on Sunday 27th Mar. In this event you can learn about the tea ceremony and tasting fresh tea. Qingming is the best time to pick up the tea leaves and try the fresh tea. Coming with the tea we will also teach you how to make the traditional snack for this festival - 'Qing Tuan', kinda dumpling made of herbs. And this event is also good for kids to socialize, we have prepared some arts & crafts and games! There will be an exciting Easter Egg Hunt with lots of tasty prizes to be won as well as the opportunity to decorate and customize their own Easter Egg. The event will start 2.30pm on Jiaozhou lu, French Concession Area and finish at 5pm.
