Walking and kayaking in Qingpu Suburb
This event is part of our traditionaI SOC Family Day Trip series where our members can socialize with old friends and making new friends, and everyone share the cost together in a relaxing vibe. In this trip we will explore the area near Qingpu Dianshan Lake inside Shanghai (part of Dianshan Lake in Kunshan city of Jiangsu Province).
Dianshan Lake is the largest freshwater in Shanghai. We will cycle pass Oriental Land, Grand View Garden, Plum Garden and the beautiful villages along the Dianshan Lake!
Unlike other famous water towns Jinze Water Town is less touristy but more famous by its bridges in different shapes over the crisscross waterways in different dynasties. There are over 10 bridges which have been well preserved with the longest history dating back to Song dynasty!

Detailed Itinerary
08:00 - meet at Starbucks in Hongqiao Marriot Hotel, near Longxi station of line 10
08:00 - board our coach and head to Qingpu District
09:00 - arrive at Jinze Ancient Town and explore the water town
10:15 - drive to a local village for lunch, walk around the beautiful village before the lunch
12:00 - organic food as lunch
13:30 - get your bike and cycle from rainbow bridge by the Dianshan Lake, finishing at local village which borders with Jiangsu Province. The cycling is about 30K on separated cycling path (most of time)
16:30 - board our coach and drive back to downtown (we might come back to Starbucks at 18:00 depending on the traffic)
Program ends.
